The merger of 6 law firms in Central America and Panama creates the new law firm LatamLex Abogados

Six well recognized law firms in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, have joined in to create a law firm, LatamLex Abogados. They decided to gather the experience of each one in his country, to combine their expertise in 15 areas of legal practice and to consolidate the prestige they have built at local and international levels, which has been recognized by all the recognized legal publications by granting them top positions in the international legal rankings.

The law firms that have merged together to create Latamlex Abogados are:

  • El Salvador – Guandique Segovia Quintanilla
  • Guatemala – Skinner-Klée & Asociados
  • Honduras – Matamoros Batson & Asociados
  • Nicaragua – Directum Abogados (Latamlex Nicaragua)
  • Panamá – López, Villanueva & Heurtematte

The main goal of this new firm is to provide to LatamLex Abogados clients a comprehensive, personalized and efficient legal advice with the highest quality and professional ethics across Central America and Panama. In particular, it offers the ability to offer cross-border legal services coordinated from any of the offices the client chooses.

This merger is unique in its field, as it brings together law firms from Central America. LatamLex Abogados will start operating on November 15th of this year and will have a network of more than 80 lawyers and offices in San Jose (Costa Rica); San Salvador (El Salvador); Ciudad de Guatemala (Guatemala); Tegucigalpaand San Pedro Sula (Honduras); Managua (Nicaragua); and Panama City (Panamá).
