ALFREDO SKINNER-KLÉE SOL PARTICPATES IN THE ARBITRAGE CENTER CENTRAL AMERICAN CONVENTION
Alfredo Skinner-Klée Sol participated in the VIII Arbitration Center Convention of Central America and the Caribbean representing the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce Center for Arbitration and Conciliation (CENAC), an institution in which he serves as Director.
The event was organized by the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce, as part of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of this institution, and took place in the city of San Jose over the course of two days. Alfredo Skinner-Klée Sol-s speech took place in the panel on: “Arbitration Centers as an exponential platform for national arbitration,” where he examined judicial intervention in arbitration processes. Moreover, the event involved the participation of directors of arbitration centers throughout Central America, Dominican Republic and Panama, who tackled the issue of arbitration according to their experience in each jurisdiction as well as the importance of developing a culture of arbitration and sharing best practices to strengthen the performance of each center.
Aside from his participation as a speaker, Alfredo Skinner-Klée received, along with other representatives from the centers for conflict resolution of Central America, special recognition on behalf of the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CCA) that highlighted the invaluable support and backing given by the Centers for Alternate Means of Conflict Resolution in the region during the 20th anniversary celebration of the CCA.
